The Queen of the Lake III

The newest tour boat to cruise the waters of Buckeye Lake is coming this year.  The launch of this 88ft Sternwheeler, donated to the Museum, will be this fall.  This wonderful tour boat will provide public tours, private tours and excusive  Museum events.

She will hold over 50 passengers with a full galley, lower air-conditioned deck which will seat 40 for dinner. The top deck will have a covered top with more seating that will allow any visitor a full view of Buckeye Lake. The Queen will also have Wi-Fi, TV’s and the latest electronics.   

Received in 2016, the restoration of this beautiful boat has been on-going for the past 2 1/2 years and is near completion.  She will be christened “The Queen of the Lake III” following the history of Buckeye Lake which had its’ first sternwheeler in 1950. She has been restored entirely with donations and many hours of hard work.  Volunteers have been the backbone of this project.  Prices for tours are now being  developed.  Should you like to be involved or donate please contact the Museum” 740-929-1998.
