In October of 2015, a gift was given to the Buckeye Lake Historical Society Muesum that could be it's lifesaver. A couple from Zanesville, Ohio decided to donate an 88 foot sternwheeler to the muesum. This boat is special in that it can float in less than 2 feet of water and CAN float on the lake as it is now, making it one of the only boats able to go on the water and once again enable thousands to be able to enjoy the beautiful waters of Buckeye Lake.
